For the 75th anniversary of the Normandy Landings, I had the chance to be involved in developing and directing "Ham and Jam," a branded documentary for Eurotunnel that focused on the night preceding D-Day. Our pre-production efforts were originally focused on uncovering stories that captured the essence of Franco-British unity during that critical period. The story surrounding Wally Parr, as told by his family, was particularly poignant. To enhance the storytelling, we decided to use stylized black-and-white 3D animation to recreate key moments, adding visual depth to the historical context. This documentary became a key feature of Eurotunnel's PR campaign, bridging personal stories with the broader historical significance of D-Day.
